Equigerminal is recognised as a National Reference Laboratory for horse diseases by the Portuguese National Authority for Animal Health (DGAV), since 17/08/2017.

Quality Control for Molecular Diagnostics (QCMD) is an independent International External Quality Assessment (EQA) / Proficiency Testing (PT) organisation. QCMD provides a wide-ranging quality assessment services primarily focused on molecular infectious diseases to over 2000 participants in over 100 countries.

ISAG 

International Society for Animal Genetics

The International Society and the International Foundation for Animal Genetics (ISAG and IFAG) evolved from a series of annual workshops for comparing methods for detecting red cell antigens and variants of proteins to a organization focusing on basic and applied research on molecular genetics.
